The first 100 mile stationary bikeathon. All of the proceeds will go to the 100 Mile Man Scholarship Fund, providing full tuition college scholarships to inner city kids.

How?

We will bring in 100 Stationary bikes to Summer Stage at Central Park! 100 bikes ONLY.

What?

You “buy” a bike for the day. You can share the bike with a friend/group/family or you can ride the whole time individually. It takes about 4-7 hours to ride 100 miles on a stationary bike. It’s hard…but so is changing the world!!!

Really?

Yep! We will have bands, DJ’s, celebrity guests, special instructors, rappers, Grodins, food, ZICO, beverages, VOLI Vodka, etc. There will be a ton of energy and excitement!!!

When?

Saturday, October 2nd. Doors will open at 10am, we will start pedaling at 11, with a cutoff time of 5pm.  We will host a happy hour right after at Summer Stage!!!

There is a $100 registration fee per rider and each bike/team must raise a minimum of $1,000.

Please bring family and friends as there will be fun for all!!!!

Just keep doing exactly what you were…riding your bike!!! Fall is a great time, it’s not hot or humid and you get to see beautiful fall colors and continue to build fitness. Cycling is great crosstraining for skiing and snoboarding. It’s great to take all that cycling fitness into the winter, that’s my plan for a big winter of “shreddin’ the pow.”

    The key is maintaining the fitness you worked so hard to achieve from training all summer long.
    There are loads of great fall rides, go into any bike shop and you can find plenty of information on fall rides of varying distances.

    I’m planning on a few myself…I’ll be posting info soon.
